Canadian Disc Jockey Association
BobHawkins.com was the 15th member to join the CDJA and has been a member in good standing since its founding in 1978. Bob has been the President of the Toronto Chapter and has sat as a member of the National Executive Council. For 5 years, Robert held the position of Secretary for the Toronto Chapter. Canadian Professional Disc Jockey Association
BobHawkins.com has been a member of this association, originally called the Canadian Online Disc Jockey Association, since its inception in the early 1990s. The CPDJA mission is to promote professionalism in the disc jockey service industry through information, education, training and support for our membership. It strives to maintain the highest standards of service to consumers in planning, organising and coordinating the use of the services of our professional membership. In March 2012 BobHawkins.com was one of the five inaugural recipients - out of all the DJs in Canada! - to receive the CPDJA Community Service Award, an award which showcases the contributions the recipients have made in their communities.
Western New York Mobile Entertainers Alliance
Following the Mobile Beat Summer Conference in Niagara Falls, New York in 2005, BobHawkins.com joined this great group of individuals after experiencing high levels of camaraderie and hospitality. As a member, we were the only company to ever hold two memberships in the organisation. Bob and Robert travelled anywhere between Buffalo and Rochester every month to attend its meetings. Robert sat on the board of officers as the secretary for 5 years straight. Robert was honored with the WNYMEA Member of the Year Award in 2010.
